Mark Scisly (Head Coach 2nd Season)
Mark Scisly is entering his second season as the head coach at Boyertown. Last year, in his first season, he helped the Bears rebound from a 1-11 season by finishing 5-7. The Bears finished fourth in the Pac 10 with a 5-4 conference record. The four losses were by a total of only 24 points. Coach Scisly has high hopes for an even better season in 2009.
Coach Scisly came to Boyertown from Salisbury High School, where he was the head coach of the Falcons for four years. Under Scisly in 2006, Salisbury won their first championship in 34 years by beating Pine Grove for the Class AA Eastern Conference Championship.
