- Voted First Team on the WCOJ-AM All Area Team as both OG and DE as a senior
- Named Second Team All Philadelphia Area as a defensive end as a senior
- Only lineman from Boyertown named to the 30-year All Ches-Mont team
- Coached in the Boyertown football program for 33 years (7 years as head coach)
- Currently coaching 7th grade girls field hockey, in his 100th scholastic season as a coach

- Married to his Wife Valerie for 37 years with two sons, Douglass and Nicholas
- Taught physical education at Boyertown Jr. High East for 35 years

- Making the game-saving tackle in a 7-6 Boyertown win over Coatesville as a senior
- As a coach, taking on the number one ranked Downingtown Whippets and having Dave Dykie score a TD on the first play of the game
- As a coach, beating Pottsville 41-7 (at Pottsville) with an all sophomore backfield
