Robert Fleming

- McClure HS class of 1930 (Snyder County in PA)
- Played 3 sports in high school (soccer, basketball, and baseball)
- Attended Juniata College and played varsity football and was a sprinter in track
- Became second head football coach at Boyertown in 1940, coaching until 1953
- Coached baseball at Boyertown in 1942 and 1943
- Served as a member of the Boyertown School Board for 24 years
- Past President of the Boyertown Lions Club and was voted Man of the Year in 1976
- Elected to the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 1995
- Personal
- Graduated from Juniata College in 1935 with a degree in Science and Pre-Med
- Taught for 4 years at North Coventry before coming to Boyertown to teach physics and chemistry
- Lives in Boyertown with his wife of 68 years Dorothy. They have two children, Gloria and Jimmy, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
