- Member of the 1977 Ches-Mont championship team
- Had one of the greatest seasons ever at Boyertown in 1977 (scored 132 points rushing for 1,810 yards)
- Named All Ches-Mont in 1976 and 1977, All Berks, All State Honorable Mention, All City Suburban First Team, and Montgomery County Outstanding Scholar Football Player in 1977
- Also member of the track team while at Boyertown
- Played collegiately for 2 years at West Chester University
- Personal
- Graduated from West Chester University in 1982 with a degree in Criminal Justice
- Lives in Gilbertsville with his wife of 20 years Laurene, with two daughters, Jillian and Olivia.

- Beating Coatesville at home on a very cold and rainy night when everyone said the Bears had no shot to win
