  • Graduated from Penn State (one varsity letter) with a degree in Business Finance
  • Joined the Navy after graduating from Officers Candidate School
  • Worked for US Steel for 35 years before retiring to live in Washington state with his wife Joan and their 3 children (Ian, Jennifer, and Matthew) and 2 grandchildren (Derrek and Nicholas)
