• West Chester University graduate, Class of 1957 (degree in Mathematics)
• Earned a Master's Degree from University of Illinois
• Started coaching career at West Chester HS as an assistant coach
• Coached at Bristol HS (head coach) and as an assistant at Norristown HS, Upper Merion HS, and Ursinus College
• Was head coach at Boyertown from 1971 through 1982, winning the 1977 Ches-Mont league title
• Taught mathematics at Boyertown HS until 1997
• Elected to the West Chester Killinger Hall of Fame as both a player and coach
• Personal
  • Married to wife Carol with two children (Mike and Michelle) with four grandchildren
  • Was an avid fly-fisherman
  • Passed away in 2001 while touring Italy
