Boyertown wrapped up the 2025 regular season and, for the third time, clinched a birth in the PIAA District 1 Football Playoffs.
The Bears scored twice in the first quarter on a 27 yard touchdown run by Logan Oakes, and a 14-yard run by Michael Boorse in the last minute of the first quarter. Gavin Royce put the extra points up and the Bears ended the first quarter 14-0.
The Bears continued rolling up a game total of 444 yards of offense in the second quarter, scoring just 31 seconds into the second quarter on a 74-yard touchdown run, and a 28-yard touchdown run by Henley with just 49 seconds left in the half. Royce again added 2 extra points. The Bears went into the half with a 28-7 lead.
The third quarter also featured two Bears touchdowns, a 3-yard run by Michael Boorse and a 35-yard run by Antonio Fargnoli at :22 seconds. Gavin Royce added two extra points, and the score at the end of 3 quarters was 42-7.
The final touchdown of the night was a 43-yard run by Jackson Rose at the 4:39 mark, and this time Jake Musselman added the extra point.
The Bears were led offensively by Tilman Henley 7-166, Michael Boorse 18-104, and Jackson Rose 5-65. Defensively, Logan Oakes had 6 tackles, 2 for loss, and a half a sack. Brody Ayers 5 tackles 1,5 for loss, and a half a sack. Leonardo Martinez had 3 tackles, 1 sack, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup.
The Bears will Travel to North Penn on October 31st at 7:00 pm for the first round of the district playoffs.
